AC-INOX strives to maintain the highest legal and ethical standards in all our business practices. Our value is to treat each other and all stakeholders as we wish to be treated, with respect, embracing diversity.
Compliance with Laws
All business and other activities of AC-INOX shall be carried out strictly in compliance with all applicable laws and under the principles of good corporate citizenship in each country where such activities take place. Each employee is expected to comply with the requirements of those laws and regulations that apply to AC-INOX's operations and to his/her job and with the AC-INOX principles of good corporate citizenship.
Human Rights
AC-INOX supports and respects the protection of human rights as defined in the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Our goal is to avoid any human rights violations within our own company as well as along the entire value chain. To this end, we require our suppliers to comply with environmental and social standards and to ensure the highest possible level of transparency. The mutual observance of human rights forms the basis for a trusting and lasting cooperation with our business partners.
AC-INOX supports basic labour rights as defined by the International Labour Organization. AC-INOX does not accept any form of forced or compulsory labour or the use of child labour.
Non-Discrimination
It is a basic obligation and a core element of our values not to discriminate against our employees. Discrimination bars people from living up their full potential and creates inequality. AC-INOX aspires to create an inclusive culture where employees from every background can contribute their fullest. We do not accept any form of discrimination, harassment or bullying from our employees.
Occupational Health and Safety
AC-INOX wants to be a company where safety, health and wellbeing of people is valued as an integral part of our business sustainability. Our slogan “We serve for your safety” is deeply rooted in us and applies not only to our customers, but also to all of our people. Each employee is responsible for complying with the safety instructions, for using personal protection equipment when required, and for reporting on any shortcomings regarding safety instructions or protection measures.
AC-INOX expects full loyalty from its employees. Employees must avoid situations where their personal interests may conflict with those of AC-INOX. This means, for instance, that employees are not allowed to accept gifts or entertainment from a stakeholder, except for a gift or entertainment of a minor value given on an occasional basis, providing it does not create a conflict of interest situation.
Fraud Prevention / Anti-corruption
AC-INOX employees and third parties acting on behalf of AC-INOX must comply with applicable laws and regulations against corruption, bribery, fraud and money laundering and conduct all business and daily activities in accordance with legal and ethical principles.
Fair Competition
AC-INOX strives to inform its Management if an employee has inadvertently received or used proprietary or confidential information that relates to competitors and legitimately belongs only to them or a third party. AC-INOX does its best to be honest and accurate when communicating with its stakeholders, and our employees shall make their statements in accordance with this principle.
Export Control/Compliance with Sanctions and Embargos
Each employee is expected to inform the Export Control as early as possible about new projects and for assistance and guidance by dealing with exports.
Commitment
AC-INOX takes an active approach to the application of this Code of Conduct and promotes its implementation through the effective communication of its contents to its employees. AC-INOX monitors the application of this code internally. Suppliers and business partners are an important and integral part of the total value chain of the products and services of AC-INOX.
We commit our suppliers and business partners to comply with ethical and legal standards and to agree to the requirements of this Code of Conduct.
It forms an important basis for our cooperative business dealings. In the case that questions arise regarding the interpretation of or compliance with this Code of Conduct, AC-INOX should be contacted. The application of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed from time to time by the Management, which may decide on necessary revisions or interpretations.
